Working Bin
For those of you with sticker shock on the cost for the manufactured bins but you want to get started right away, the working bin is your turn key answer. This bin includes bedding, worm food, compost activator and 1 pound of worms already at work. All the ventilation holes are covered with fabric to reduce the chance of flies or other creatures entering your bin. Compost leachate is collected under the bottom tray and easily poured out through a spout for use in the garden. Please remember to dilute your compost leachate before adding it to plants.
These bins are currently available in blue. No assembly required.

Make your own vermicompost tea with these handy tea bags. Each bag has 12 tea bags each filled with the perfect amount of Fine Grade Worm Castings for 1-gallon of Vermicompost Tea (instructions included). You can also put one of these tea bags in the bottom of your potted plants to provide a consistent source of nourishment.

Bulk Worm Castings
Grow larger healthier plants and vegetables.Natural and safe on even delicate plants. Great for sprinkling onto existing plants and seedlings or for making vermicompost tea. Fine grade castings are 1/4 inch sifted and sold in 1-Quart zipper bags and in 1/3 cubic foot bags. 1/3 cubic foot bags are ideal for using in gardens, one bag will cover approximately an 8 ft x 8 ft area. Bulk pricing available.

Castings by the yard (27 cubic feet) are available for pickup at the Farm located in Gridley, CA. These castings are screened through a 1/4 inch screen. Order on-line and contact us to coordinate a pick-up time. If you would like the castings delivered there is an extra delivery charge. Call to get a quote for delivery charges.
